The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reached a settlement to the class-action lawsuits regarding broker commissions that went in to effect on August 17, 2024 and finalized in November 2024. The settlement includes several changes between the agent and buyer relationship that can benefit homebuyers. The agreement mandates changes to how real estate agents are compensated and how listings are shared, particularly within the Multiple Listing Service (MLS).

Lobster Mini Season 2025

The historically favored 2025 Lobster Mini Season just came to an end. The two day event took place on Wednesday and Thursday (July 30th & 31st), and is considered a holiday by most visitors and locals alike. For many it is the last hoorah before summer ends and school starts and is looked forward to year after year. Opening day of Lobster Season will take place here shortly on next Wednesday, August 6th, and close March 31st, 2026.
