The majority of the nesting season takes please between March and October. Specifically March 1-October 31 (Atlantic) and May 1-October 31 (Gulf).  As the nesting season begins in the Floriday Keys, our park and city staff, as well as biologists are preparing to monitor nests and keep them safe.  Staff and volunteers work hard to mark all of the nests and patroll the sites to make sure they are not being desturbed. There are lots of celebrations going on this weekend thru Monday to celebrate St. Patrick's Day throughout the Keys.
