Karen was born and raised in Pennsylvania. A few years after graduating high school she moved to the Keys and settled in the Marathon area. Karen worked at the Marine Bank and Fishermen’s Hospital before getting her Real Estate license in 1999. Karen joined the rental department, as our property manager, in 1999 very shortly after obtaining her Real Estate license.
After Hurricane Irma, Karen was instrumental in overseeing much of the restoration work on our vacation rental properties. Karen worked endless hours with both the property owners and contractors to ensure that the properties that were able to be restored in time for our winter guests were completed. However, her work is not done yet as more of our vacation rental properties continue to be worked on today.
When not working, you can most often find Karen outside tending to our homeless cat population as a volunteer for Forgotten Felines. Forgotten Felines is a non-profit organization that feeds homeless and abandoned cats. They also spay/neuter them as finances allow. Karen also volunteers at the local Snip (Spay Neuter In Paradise) clinic one Tuesday every month to help with the procedures.
If you would like to talk with Karen about listing your vacation rental property with our office, please give her a call at 305-743-6226 or you can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
