Happy Hour = Happy Me

August 29, 2017 The Ultimate Guide to Key Colony Beach & Marathon - In my Opinion

The rain and wind have departed our area and the heat is back on.  It was much too hot for me to cook so the hubby and I headed out for a cold beverage and some snacks.  We decided on Tarpon Creek – located behind the Holiday Inn.  The view, as always, was spectacular and there was even a nice little breeze coming off the water.

We decided to take advantage of the happy hour menu and ordered the Buffalo Shrimp.  Delish! The shrimp were nice and saucy and the blue cheese dressing was cool, chunky and rich.  A perfect combination.  We washed it down with a nice domestic beer.  The beer was ice cold and served in a chilled glass.

Also on the happy hour menu are rice balls.  The rice balls are usually my go-to but last night they sounded just a little heavy for such a hot evening.  Next time though!  Calamari and sliders finish out the menu.  Happy hour at Tarpon Creek is from 4-7pm.

Fabulous View & Fabulous Food

Our bartender, Sam, was delightful.  We were never in need of anything!  Although we were not the only ones in the bar, she certainly made us feel that way.
