Events & Festivals

Pigeon Key Art Festival

This annual arts festival is a popular weekend event every February. The tropically themed, juried fine art show attracts artists from all over the US. Live music and local food vendors round out the attractions. The $7 entrance fee includes admission to the show, live music, art raffles and fun for the entire family.

More than 4,300 people attended in 2010.

The festival supports the maintenance for the island and its historic buildings. The island served as the home for the railroad workers while they constructed the Seven Mile Bridge for the Overseas Highway from 1908 to 1912.

Annual Marathon Seafood Festival

The annual Marathon Seafood Festival in March is a popular two day event for locals and visitors. The food takes center stage, of course, with local fisherman, restaurants and vendors offering their freshest catch – lobster tail, stone crab claws, shrimp, snapper and more!

Another stage features live music throughout the weekend, and there are games and activities for kids, including a rock climbing wall. More than 100 vendors offer unique jewelry, clothing, local arts & crafts, and other terrific souvenirs and décor for your home. Don’t miss this favorite community event.

Key Colony Beach Day
