What an honor to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has served this great nation in the United States Military.
Here are a few interesting facts about this special day:
1. Veterans Day was originally called Armistice Day and was created to honor Veterans of WWI.
2. November 11, 1919 was the first Armistice Day. The document was signed between the United States and Germany in the 11th month, on the 11th day during the 11th hour. So, this Veterans Day being 11-11-11 is very special indeed!
3. Arlington National Cemetary has a ceremony every year on Veterans Day honoring those who died for this countries freedoms.
Let us never forget the price that has been paid for the freedoms we enjoy in America today!
