Pigeon Key Art Festival Moved to Marathon Airport Field

Pigeon Key Arts Festival

The Pigeon Key Art Festival has been moved to the Marathon Airport Field (MM51) and will be held this weekend, Feb 11-12, 2012

The popular arts festival named for Pigeon Key, the island beneath the Old Seven Mile Bridge where railroad workers lived during the construction of the Overseas Railroad in the early 1900's, is in its 18th year.

This year's event -- which was moved from Marathon Community Park to the airport field -  will showcase artwork, pottery, paintings, glass, sculpture, photography, jewelry and more.  There will also be food and beverage booths and local delicacies.  Casey Weston will be performing on the acoustic guitar.  He was a finalist of NBC's popular TV show "The Voice."

Admission is $7 for adults and $3 for students and children under 12.  Hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm with free parking.

Proceeds from the event  benefit the Pigeon Key Foundation. For more information please visit our events page or call the Pigeon Key gift shop for more information: 305-743-5999.
