HGTV Puts Florida Keys In The Spotlight

The Florida Keys is the focus of a new show coming to the popular TV channel HGTV, the Keynoter reports.  It's called "Live Here, Buy This!"   Last week the TV crew filmed scenes at two Upper Keys homes for the upcoming new series for 2012.

Production Executive Andrea Griffith states, "It's a fantasy show that asks: If people had a chance to live in their dream location, could they do it? It's going to be a very exciting show along the lines of House Hunters International."

Plantation Key Broker, Natalia Boblitt took the crew on a boating tour to give them a really good sense of how the Keys are all about the water and outdoors. She stated, "We want to let the world know we're here because a lot of people think Florida is just Mickey Mouse and South Beach. Our main objective is to get people down here to help our industry and economy."

My candidate for the ultimate Florida Keys lifestyle is this gorgeous oceanfront pool home in Key Colony Beach:

Oceanfront Pool Home in Key Colony Beach

The four bedroom, four bath has amazing ocean views from almost every room. Artfully designed and built by Jeff Ryder, the home offers  gracious, spacious living indoors and out, a wonderful chef's kitchen with granite counters and a n ocean side breakfast room.

There are two separate garages, one  with a workshop. The 95 foot concrete pier  includes a 25,000 lb boat lift. (Details: http://www.keysproperties.com/property/ocean-front-key-colony-beach-pool-home.)

I already know the Keys are a great place to live. I've been in Marathon 37 years!  So, "Come back to the Keys, and stay for a week....or stay for a lifetime!"

Warm regards from the Keys, Judy Cinque
