Nature lovers... zip lines are coming to Marathon in the Florida Keys! The Marathon City Council just voted unanimously to submit an application for a Community Development Block Grant to the state on behalf of Crane Point Museum & Nature Center. http://www.cranepoint.net
This project will not only breath life into Crane Point but will create up to 21 new jobs in the Marathon area. For a city of roughly 10,000 people, that's a lot!
The Marathon Chamber of Commerce touts the Islands of Marathon as the "Boating & Family Destination in the Florida Keys." http://www.floridakeysmarathon.com.
Being able to fly like an eagle over the beautiful hammock with endangered species of flora & fona will be breathtaking.
